Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. You can create an account, receive the $50 trial balance, and start a runtime without adding a payment method.
What are the free trial resource limits?+
Free trial accounts share aggregate limits of 32 vCPU and 64 GiB of memory across their runtimes. Adding a payment method unlocks higher resource limits.
What happens when my balance reaches zero?+
Runtime usage is restricted until you add funds. Runta does not turn the depleted balance into an open-ended bill.
Is there a subscription or minimum monthly charge?+
No. Runta uses prepaid, usage-based billing with no subscription and no monthly minimum. The minimum manual top-up is $5.
Can Runta charge my card automatically?+
Only if you add a payment method and explicitly enable automatic top-ups. Otherwise, adding funds is always a manual action.
